About me
Edward McClellan is the Rita O. Huntsinger Distinguished Professor of Music, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Music Education at Loyola University New Orleans. Dr. McClellan is a member of the Editorial Boards for the International Journal of Music Education, Action, Criticism, and Theory for Music Education, and Music Educators Journal. He has published research in the Visions of Research in Music Education, Action, Criticism, and Theory for Music Education, Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education, Contributions to Music Education, and Music Educators Journal. Dr. McClellan has released his book, The Psychology of Teaching and Learning Music by Routledge, Taylor and Francis Group. Recently, McClellan has also contributed a chapter on Transformation in the Music Teacher Preparation Program, in the book, Stories of Change in Music Teacher Education: Recruiting, Training, and Supporting New Teachers to be released by GIA Publications, Inc.
