About me
Jeremy Bryant is a commercial music educator at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, where he teaches guitar, music production, and popular music ensemble courses. He holds a Master of Music Education from Belmont University, where his capstone project explored teacher agency, student belonging, and the role of popular music pedagogies in contemporary music education. Jeremy is the creator and host of the Beyond the Stand podcast, a series of interviews with educators, students, and leaders in PME that highlights the importance of “both/and” approaches in school music programs. His work is driven by a commitment to expanding musical opportunities for all students and supporting teachers as they build programs that are creative, relevant, and sustainable.
