About me
Arts and entertainment industry veteran, Kate Gargiulo, has worked for both non-profit arts organizations and Fortune 500 companies including the Seattle Symphony, Kirkland Performance Center, The Broad Stage, and Live Nation Entertainment. Kate’s primary area of expertise is training arts professionals on how to utilize technology to better serve their missions and patrons.
An Instructor with Tessitura Network since 2021, Kate teaches the best practices of the arts and culture business. She teaches courses in Ticketing, Membership, and is an instructor for Tessitura’s Career Accelerator program. She is currently studying instructional design at UC San Diego Extension.
Kate is a member of the International Ticketing Association (INTIX), SoCal Tix, and the Association for Popular Music Education (APME). She holds a Master's degree in Arts Administration from Florida State University, a Bachelor's in Music from the University of Central Florida, and a Certificate in Data Science from UCLA. She lives in Los Angeles.
