Conductor/composer Jonathan Allentoff will lead a dynamic Soundbite Session on celebrating popular songs in community, university, and professional ensemble settings. The presentation will highlight insights from Allentoff’s collaborative concerts with the Eastman Summer Studio Orchestra, Eastman Klezmer Ensemble, Brockport Symphony Orchestra, and the Flight 584 Big Band.

However, how does this vocational focus negatively impact students?
